FoodSpot

Terms of Use

Last updated: 20 October 2026

By installing or using FoodSpot, made by ftwco., you agree to these terms.

1. What FoodSpot does

FoodSpot reads the public caption or description of reels you share with it, suggests the restaurant and its location, and saves spots on your phone. Suggestions come from public text and open map data, so they can be wrong: check a place before you travel there.

2. Your use

3. Creator profiles

Only the owner of a social media account may claim the matching FoodSpot profile, by signing in with that platform. Creators are responsible for the accounts they connect and can disconnect them or remove their profile at any time. We may remove a profile that was claimed improperly.

4. Third-party services

FoodSpot relies on services such as Instagram, YouTube, Google Maps, OpenStreetMap and Photon. Their content and availability are outside our control, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. Connecting a YouTube account also means agreeing to the YouTube Terms of Service.

5. No warranty

FoodSpot is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for losses arising from using the app, including wrong locations or directions.

6. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use FoodSpot means you accept the updated terms. Questions: privacy@foodspot.app.
